Lola is an exquisite girl....a white cream puff with charcoal and pumpkin accents over her eyes and the top of her head. Her eyes are green, and her nose and ears are pink!
She and her brother Bono were bottle babies, rescued by an elderly woman who loved and cared for them their entire seven years of life. In addition to her "mom," Lola has also lived with her adult daughter and her young son (now seven y.o.), our other cats, a pit bull terrier and another terrier. It was an amazingly peaceable kingdom. Then, the woman lost her home, moved in with a friend and had no place for her many animals. She sought help from a Good Samaritan "Betsy" who agreed to care for Bono and Lola but could only do so for a few weeks due to space limitations. After that, they'd go to the County Shelter.
Betsy writes: "Lola is an absolute beauty. Her "mom" lost her home and had to give up this sweet cat. She is fine with children and nice cats and dogs, super mellow and very loving.?
Mary says: "Lola is one of the most laid back, affectionate cats I've met. She is a delight, easy, extremely sweet. She?s big cat....guessing ~12 pounds, part Turkish Van, best guess. Great cat!"
