If only cats would talk! AJ's story would certainly be interesting. Here's what we know. He was clearly an abandoned pet because he is so very human-oriented. A homeless young man "Trevor" found AJ at the river park in Healdsburg and befriended AJ. When Trevor made his way to Cloverdale, he took AJ with him. AJ lived on the street, with Trevor and others feeding him. When AJ was attacked by another at, Feline Rescue took responsibility for AJ's vet care. AJ is now in a very temporary foster arrangement but needs a real foster home ....or an adopter....urgently.
AJ is handsome, a buff colored Tabby boy with gold eyes and an easy purr. He is very, very people friendly, loves to be petted, loves laps. He might be fine with another sweet cat or gentle dog, but for now, he's just getting his bearings with temporary foster mom Barbara's help.
Barbara says: "I love AJ. He is sweet, loves to have my company. Unfortunately, I have several big dogs who can be intimidating, even thought AJ is in a separate room. I'm happy to keep AJ here for a short time, but it's not a good long term spot. He deserves much more!"
