Name: STAN(ISLAUS) Sex: F DOB (approx): 8.14.11 Breed mix: DSH Tabby Vet: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, prior to adoption. "Stan" is one of our "River Kittens," born to mama cat "River." River and her five kittens were struggling in a high risk area, somehow managing to survive despite traffic, roaming dogs and a few unfriendly humans. A kind neighbor called and asked us to help. The little family has been fostered in Novato, and everyone is now ready for "forever homes." Stan (short for "Stanislaus") was originally thought to be a male kitten, and when we learned Stan was a little girl, we decided to keep the name. It seems to fit! She is simply lovely, primarily white with patches of charcoal, some intricate Tabby markings on her head and soft camel/gold edges on her ears. Her eyes are olive, and her nose is pink! Stan's foster mom writes: "Stan is delicate and lovely. She's one of the most active and playful of the litter mates, enjoying nothing more than chasing a long, squiggly toy or wrestling with her brothers and sisters. She also loves to be held and petted. She will develop into a very beautiful, affectionate cat. Stan needs a loving, forever home. Might that be yours?" We believe Stan will do well in many settings. Ideally, we'd like to see her adopted with one of her siblings (Bear or Smith).....or at least have another kitten or cat as a playmate.
