Domestic Short Hair - Orange - Garfunkel (aka Tiggs) - Large
This little guy started life as an orphaned kitten, wandering in the neighborhood, looking for a home. Well, he found one....with a kind man named Chris. Since then, Garfunkel (and best buddy and collaborator Simon) have been well loved. Unfortunately, Chris had to move to Egypt to care for his elderly mom, and so we're seeking a new home for both cats. Garfunkel is a handsome buff colored Tabby with lovely markings. He weighs about 13.5 pounds and has a large, athletic body. The foster mom writes: "Garfunkel loves Simon who is like a big brother. They're a wonderful duo. Both cats are very smart, extremely well house trained (never have accidents outside of litter box), and indoor/sometimes outdoor cats. They are independent but also show a lot of affection. They can play well with other cats, but must be introduced and after a day or two, can be friends. They eat regular dry cat food and almost any type of wet food that has gravy. "Garfunkel likes to be in the same room with you. He's not demanding or needy but does appreciate human company and will follow you around and watch what you're doing. He's also playful, happy to amuse himself with toys....and, as you can see, loves Simon." Note: Garfunkel is this cat's stage name; he also is known by Tigger or Tiggs. We'd love to adopt these two together; it's not essential, but it would be terrific.
